Projection Micro Stereolithography (PµSL) is a micro 3D printing process, derived from stereolithography (SLA), that enables the microfabrication of components with ultra-high resolution down to 2 µm.
PµSL integrates a DLP® light engine, precision optics, motion control, and advanced software. Using a photochemical process, SLA produces parts in layers by exposing photosensitive liquid resin to light, resulting in polymeric cross-linking and solidification.
Primarily, PµSL 3D printing is used for :
- Low-volume end-use parts
- Concept models
- Functional prototype parts, particularly where sizes are small and accuracy is critical
